About the Office
The Controller of Examinations at Thal University Bhakkar oversees the planning, scheduling, and conduct of all mid-term and final examinations across every faculty and department. The office is responsible for issuing admit cards, maintaining result records, publishing official result notifications, and handling all student queries related to assessment and evaluation.
The Examination Office operates in strict accordance with HEC guidelines and TUB Statutes to uphold academic integrity and ensure a level playing field for all students. Examination Calendar 2025–26
Provisional schedule for the 2025–26 academic year. Dates are subject to change; students are advised to check the official notice board regularly.

Grading System
TUB follows the HEC-recommended GPA grading scale. CGPA is computed on a 4.0 scale across all completed credit hours.

* A minimum CGPA of 2.00 is required for graduation at the BS level. MS and MBA programs require a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
Examination Rules
- 1A minimum attendance of 75% in each course is mandatory to be eligible for the final examination.
- 2Students must bring their university-issued ID card to every examination. Entry will be denied without a valid ID.
- 3Mobile phones and electronic communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- 4Use of unfair means (UFM) will result in immediate cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action as per TUB statutes.
- 5Students must be seated at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- 6No student will be permitted to leave the examination hall during the first 30 minutes or the last 15 minutes of the exam.
- 7In case of medical emergency or force majeure, a student may apply for a "Make-up" examination with supporting documents within 7 days.
- 8Answer books will be retained by the Examination Office for one year from the date of result announcement.
Re-Checking Policy
Students may apply for re-checking of their answer books within 7 days of the official result announcement. The re-checking fee is PKR 500 per subject, payable at the Finance Office (Accounts Section). After payment, students must submit the completed Form EX-04 along with the original fee receipt to the Examination Office. Re-checking involves verification of marks totalling and ensures no portion of the answer book has been left unmarked. Re-evaluation (re-marking) is not available. Results of re-checking will be communicated within 15 working days.
