ORIC
Advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and building industry bridges through the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization.
The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) at Thal University Bhakkar serves as the central hub for all research-related activities at the university. Established in full compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines, ORIC supports faculty members, postgraduate students, and research associates in securing competitive research grants, publishing peer-reviewed findings, protecting intellectual property through patents, and forging meaningful partnerships with industry, government agencies, and civil society organizations.
ORIC promotes a culture of systematic inquiry, evidence-based problem-solving, and knowledge commercialization across all faculties of TUB. With a focus on challenges specific to the Thal region and southern Punjab, ORIC ensures that research conducted at TUB has direct, measurable impact on the communities it serves — from irrigation and agriculture to education, public health, and economic development.
