Eligibility
CGPA >= 3.7 — Top 3 students per program per semester
Awarded each semester to the top three students in every program based on CGPA. TUB's most prestigious scholarship, recognising extraordinary academic commitment. Recipients are announced at the Annual Convocation and featured on the VC Merit Board of Honour.

50–100% tuition support (income-scaled)
Eligibility
Family income < PKR 40,000/month and CGPA >= 2.5
Designed for students from low-income households who demonstrate genuine financial hardship. Aid level is determined by a means-assessment committee that evaluates family income certificates, utility bills, and land records. Renewal is assessed each semester.

100% tuition waiver for full degree duration
Eligibility
Valid Hafiz certificate from a recognised Wifaq ul Madaris
In recognition of the dedication required to memorise the Holy Quran, TUB provides a full tuition waiver to all admitted Huffaz students for the entire duration of their program. A certificate from a recognised Wifaq is required at admission.

Eligibility
Students with NADRA-verified disability certificate
Students holding a valid disability certificate issued by NADRA or an authorised medical board receive a complete tuition waiver for their entire degree program. The university also provides dedicated accessible classrooms, priority registration, and examination accommodations.

Eligibility
Undergraduate students from low-income families — apply via HEC portal
A Government of Pakistan initiative administered by HEC. Provides monthly stipends and tuition coverage for economically disadvantaged students at public sector universities. TUB is a fully registered institution. Applications are submitted through the HEC Ehsaas portal.

Award
50% tuition reduction + training facility access
Eligibility
National or provincial level athlete (certificate from sports board required)
TUB's Sports Excellence Award provides a 50% tuition reduction for students who have represented Punjab or Pakistan at recognised competitions. Award holders receive priority access to university sports facilities, coaching support, and flexible exam scheduling.

PKR 3,000/month travel and living stipend
Eligibility
Female students enrolled at TUB from any of the 11 Thal region districts
To combat socioeconomic barriers to female higher education, TUB offers a combined monthly travel and living stipend to all eligible female students from the Thal region. Funded through the Punjab Higher Education Department, reflecting TUB's commitment to gender equity.
Application Process
Download the scholarship application form from the Downloads page or collect a copy from the Registrar Office, Ground Floor, Admin Block.
Prepare income certificates, academic transcripts, domicile, CNIC copy, and scholarship-specific documents (Hafiz certificate, disability certificate, sports certificate).
Submit the completed form with all supporting documents to the Student Affairs Office (Room 108, Admin Block) within the published deadline.
Need-based applicants will be called for a means-assessment interview. Merit scholarships are awarded automatically from results. You will be notified by SMS.
Approved scholarships are credited directly to your fee account. You will receive a formal award letter from the Financial Aid Office.
Common Questions
Students may hold only one TUB-administered scholarship at a time. However, you may simultaneously receive a Government scholarship (such as HEC Ehsaas) alongside a TUB scholarship if both awarding bodies permit it.
Merit scholarships are re-evaluated each semester based on updated CGPA. Need-based scholarships require renewal each academic year with fresh income documentation. Hafiz and Disability scholarships are fixed for the duration of the degree.
Merit scholarship recipients who fall below the required CGPA threshold will have their scholarship placed on probation for one semester. If the CGPA is not restored, the scholarship will be withdrawn. Students are notified in advance and may appeal to the Scholarship Committee.
Need-based financial aid and HEC Ehsaas (where applicable) are available for postgraduate students. The VC Merit Scholarship is also extended to the top performer in MBA and MEd programs.
